Connecting Faculty Grant
The CONNECT Partnership created the CONNECTING Faculty grant to encourage and support efforts of faculty who wish to meet with their colleagues in like disciplines or programs across the five CONNECT institutions: Bridgewater State College, Bristol Community College, Cape Cod Community College, Massasoit Community College, and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
The purpose of the meetings is to bring together faculty from like disciplines or similar programs working in each of the five CONNECT institutions and provide an opportunity for them to discuss areas of interest in an informal, collegial setting. The meetings are intended to supplement any professional conferences faculty attends by providing this opportunity for small group discussion. Meeting topics may include, but are certainly not limited in any way, to transfer issues, teaching/learning expectations in the discipline, assessment procedures, innovations in the field, etc.
